BIO
Sometimes we are ghosts, invisible to all but a few. We struggle to connect, but sadness can be magnetic. It can manifest as a hole in your heart so deep that it cuts through the Earth to the other side, waiting for another lost soul to stumble in. Such is the story of into/naru/mori collaborators Suz and Phil. Musical puzzle pieces, separated by continents, oceans and time. Suz, an Italian expat who's bounced through the UK and landed in the Philippines, and Phil, who traded the gritty chaos of Hollywood for the serenity of rural Georgia. In a faceless global digital world could it be that rather than eyes, it's music that's the window to the soul? Whatever the case, the duo wrote an album worth of songs before they ever even met. After over a year of trading files online, the pair finally arrived face to face for 3 days in London to record a few tracks with award winning studio wizard Shuta Shinoda (Daughter, Hot Chip, Spiritualized, Ghost Poet). Then the opportunity presented itself to do mixes with the legendary producer John Fryer (This Mortal Coil, Cocteau Twins, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, etc, etc!) With nine tracks produced and several more just waiting in the wings, these into/naru/mori ghosts still may not be seen, but they are eager to be heard.
